Pitchers Anthony Claggett and Steven Jackson cleared waivers and were sent to Class AAA Indianapolis on Thursday. They will attend spring training as two of the 22 non-roster invitees.

Jackson, 27, had a solid 3.14 earned run average in 40 relief appearances last season, but a subpar strikeout-to-walk rate (21-22) reduced his effectiveness.

The 25-year-old Clagett had a 27.00 ERA in three games out of the bullpen.
