The Pirates could have had the best power hitter in the league when the Phillies offered Ryan Howard for Kris Benson a few years ago, but the Pirates were too stupid and didn't think that was a good trade. No wonder we just broke the North American record for most consecutive losing seasons.

All are pressing, but a power hitter or two would be the most pressing in my book. Garrett Jones can help if he gets on track in 2010, but we need another consistent power hitter. Doumit is an unknown again.
